We had such a great experience here for lunch in a Sunday. They were very accommodating to with party that had one child in a high chair and one that requires a sling. We had a big table in the corner with plenty of space and the food and service were phenomenal.

Had an amazing Mothers Day Lunch with my college son! It was Saturday 2:00pm, there was about 15min wait. Everyone was kind and hospitable! Dinner prices thou. No lunch menu! Plates were amply served for price! We had plenty of leftovers! My LOVE LOVE was the Hot and Sour soup! It was sooo good! Maybe it’s got Magic on it! The Vietnamese rolla were ok. I’ve had better. Food was well prepared and service was Great!

I hadn’t been to this location in quite some time and it was just as I remembered. You get really good food here for not at lot of cost . The General Tso’s is pretty good and so is the Chinese Wonton Soup. Phong was a very attentive waiter and we got our food quickly. Glad to see this place is still a great spot for a good meal.

I was totally disappointed with my dish. I got the sizzling chicken pot. I can say it's frozen chicken nuggets with onions , green peppers saute in a clear base called gravy. I hope that the homeless lady enjoyed it because I certainly didn't

Had a great beef and shrimp fried rice here. Service was good, our server was always refilling our drinks and the food came out pretty quickly. I also tried the crab rangoons and they were amazing. Just a great experience all around. The parking situation was pretty bad though. They have a ballroom on the second floor for events, and I'm sure it's not always like this, but the parking was completely full due to one and a pain to navigate due to being surrounded by one way streets.

Family owned restaurant that never disappoints. Every dish was delicious & flavorful! Meats were seasoned perfectly & cooked to perfection! Noticed their happy hour menu on the table & it looks interesting! Will definitely be back to try it!

there's only a few dishes here that I really like and the ones that I really like are made extremely well. But I did try to get some other things here and it just wasn't that great either way they have the best quick food I usually getthe egg foo young, general tso shrimp,1 or shrimp fried rice. It's also really reasonable I hate that they're shutting it down for the new freeway

A great place for your special event. Their website states that the restaurant was started by Mama La after her arrival in the US in 1980. The KIM SON Restaurant Group has grown to four full-service restaurants, three banquet facilities, and four food court outlets throughout the Houston area. This is one of their restaurants. It is a stand-alone building in downtown Houston. It has a large parking lot around its structure. There is a very nice covered entrance. Inside is beautifully decorated with a fountain to the right and a seating area to the left before the hostess counter. The seating area seemed very elegant with many 4-person tables with white tablecloths and dark floors and tasteful decorations on the wall. I recently visited for a family event and had a wonderful experience. We had about 20 people and ordered family-style. The large plates of food from appetizers to main dishes came out quickly and everyone of them was delicious. The staff was excellent. The prices seemed very reasonable with most entrees priced between 10-20. We could not finish all the food and ended up with a large amount of take-home containers. Whether you want to have a good meal with a friend or have a large event with lots of friends this is definitely a place to hold it.
